Well whoever he's blaming, the answer is pretty simple: since the existence of EULAs.Yea, as soon as the first post came in saying I was blaming Steam I stopped caring. I've had no trouble redownloaded my already purchased DLC. What you should have are activation keys, which you would activate through the Games For Windows Live client, which in all likelihood won't work but you're welcome to keep blaming Steam for something they had nothing to do with.īut they might also work. No DLC files were ever obtained through Steam, so from a fresh install there is no reason you would have a folder in any directory. All Steam actually sold you is a key to activate through Games for Windows Live, which no longer exists.Īnd keys for a game which has since been dropped by it's distributor and publisher. Since when can a company take your money, then take the game or it's parts back from you when ever they feel like it?Since there are more parties involved than just you and the company.Anyway, Fable, both the game and the DLC, were not actually distributed through Steam, which is why it's no longer listed.
